Kelli Walsh is a seasoned professional, leading as the CEO of Blue Iron Development. She combines her comprehensive knowledge in business administration, management, and fashion merchandise marketing to drive her company forward. Since beginning her tenure as CEO in January 2023, Kelli has brought her vast experience and unique skillset to the table, showcasing her leadership abilities and strategic thinking.

Kelli holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from The Sage Colleges-Sage College of Albany and an AA in Fashion Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). This diverse educational background equips her with the strategic and creative acumen necessary for today’s business landscape.

With specialties in accounting, management, customer relations, negotiations, database administration, event management, marketing, sales, website production, sales forecasting, trend analysis, and merchandise buying, Kelli is a versatile professional. Her proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Calyx Point, ACT, and website production underscores her adaptability and ability to stay at the forefront of emerging technologies.

Before leading Blue Iron Development, Kelli held key positions at Northeast HVAC Solutions, Inc., where she worked for 15 years. Her roles ranged from Marketing Manager and Accountant to VP of Operations. Throughout her time there, Kelli honed her expertise in maintaining and managing technology—including company websites, email servers, networks, phone systems, and CRM. Moreover, she was instrumental in devising and implementing both incoming and outgoing marketing strategies, coordinating company events, and managing accounts receivable/payable.

Adept at target customer analysis and the effective execution of merchandising and marketing strategies, Kelli’s insights have consistently driven growth and performance in her ventures. As she navigates her role as CEO, she continues to draw from her wealth of knowledge and skills to provide innovative and forward-thinking leadership.

James Kehrer, P.E., currently serves as the General Manager at Blue Iron Construction LLC, bringing an extensive background in construction, project management, and land development to his role. His pragmatic and forward-thinking leadership has been instrumental in the successful operation of the company.

James is an accomplished professional, holding a professional engineer (P.E.) license and impressive educational qualifications. He has a BS in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University, an MBA in Business from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – The Lally School of Management, and a BA in Geology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. This robust academic background equips James with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to navigate the complex landscape of construction and business management.

Prior to his position at Blue Iron Construction LLC, James served as General Manager for Gala Building & Construction Management Inc, where he was responsible for overseeing the full operations of a comprehensive construction and CM company. His duties encompassed all aspects of business operation, including planning, strategy, and implementation, underscoring his adaptability and leadership prowess.

Furthermore, in his role as a Project Manager at Tech Industries LLC, James demonstrated exceptional capability in estimating and managing both private and public sector construction projects. Notably, he successfully managed Land Development for the company, a testament to his aptitude in strategic planning and project execution. Among his achievements was the approval and ongoing construction of a 204-unit townhouse complex adjacent to the Rensselaer Technology Park in the Town of North Greenbush, NY.

James’s multifaceted expertise spans across civil engineering, geology, and business management. His impressive track record is characterized by a commitment to excellence, leadership, and innovation. His skills and experience make him an invaluable asset to any project or team he leads.
